In 2017, our ruby house was invited to participate in The World’s Most Beautiful Ruby Contest hosted by GIT. The contest was a “search for the most beautiful [ruby] from every corner [of the] world.” Contestants brought their most precious rubies from all over to compete for the prize.
Veerasak Gems was honourably awarded 7 certificates and 2 prestigious trophies in a total of 4 out of 6 categories:
The Platinum award in 3 – 5 carats of unheated rubies,
The 2nd Prize in 5 – 10 carats of unheated rubies,
All Prizes 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, in 5 – 10 carats of heated rubies,
The Platinum award and Gold award in over 10 carats of heated rubies.
Following this contest for the World’s Most Beautiful Ruby, GIT extended their kind invitation to Mr. Veerasak Trirotanan to become the judge for future contestants. It was an honour for Mr. Veerasak and our ruby house, and we would like to extend our gratitude to the association for giving us this valuable opportunity.
