Sapphires – whose name originated from “sappheiros” in Greek – symbolize royalty, nobility, and sincerity. In addition to being one of the four most precious gemstones on Earth, sapphires have also played a significant role in historical culture and religions.

Sapphires, like rubies, are corundums and consist mainly of aluminium and oxygen. However, unlike rubies, the elements that give sapphires their signature blue are titanium and iron. Although more common than rubies, sapphires are still incredibly rare. Their mysterious, pulsing aura leaves every witness in awe.
